Glass Veranda - Bridgend

In Bridgend, we were thrilled to undertake this project to construct a beautiful open-sided glass veranda featuring an aluminium wall, aluminium frame, glass sliding doors, and LED lights. The satin grey aluminium structure seamlessly integrates with the property’s aesthetics, providing a cozy retreat to relax in at any time of the day.

The objective of this project was to design and construct an open-sided glass veranda over the client’s deck, leading to the garden. We aimed to create a space that promotes airflow and maintains an open design. To achieve this, we included a half aluminium wall on one side and glass sliding doors on the other, leading to the garden passage.

We started by preparing the existing deck, ensuring it was sturdy and level to support the new structure. The satin grey aluminium frame was then carefully assembled, chosen for its durability and modern aesthetic. This frame not only provides robust support but also blends effortlessly with the existing architecture of the property.

To promote airflow and an open feel, we installed a half aluminium wall on one side of the veranda. This design choice offers a degree of privacy while still allowing for ample ventilation. On the opposite side, glass sliding doors were fitted, offering easy access to the garden and creating a seamless indoor-outdoor flow. These doors can be opened fully to enhance the open-air experience, making the glass veranda an inviting extension of the home. For added functionality and ambiance, we integrated LED lighting throughout the veranda. This feature ensures that the space can be enjoyed both day and night, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for evening gatherings or quiet nights at home.

The final result is a stunning open-sided glass veranda that not only enhances the property’s aesthetic appeal but also provides a versatile outdoor living space. The 6m x 3.5m Pro Line XL glass veranda is perfect for creating lasting memories, whether it’s hosting summer barbecues, enjoying a morning coffee, or relaxing with a good book.
